Jennifer Essary
Professionally I've been a jack of all trades. With an environmental science degree I explored aquatic ecology, soil toxicology, and analytical chemisty. When I felt that a 40 hour work week would cause my life to pass me by I looked into other professions.
In 2000 I enrolled in massage school and became a licensed therapist in 2002. I've worked in both chiropractic and spa settings. Searching for an avenue to share my knowledge I became an instructor in 2005 covering the topics of: anatomy and physiology, business development, ethics, and several massage modalities.
Writing has always been on my "to do" list. Stephen King said in an interview "If you want to be a good writer, write." So here I am. As a stay at home mom with a toddler I usually write during naptime.
